先日 紹介した映画の「A League Of Their Own」のエンディングに挿入されているマドンナの「This Used Be My Playground」です。

Life is short ― 遠い昔、義経の好きな彼女( = 妻 )と平泉の戦いの跡を訪ねた時を始め、走馬灯のようにいろいろな情景が、そして憧憬が浮かぶことがあります。

残りの人生をどう意義あるものにしていきましょうか。平泉とは場所が異なりますが、知将・知盛のような言葉を残して往生したいのですが。

全然知りませんでしたが、WikiによるとBillboardで1位になっているのですね。マイナーな曲かと思っていました。

B級、いやC級映画ですが(笑)　「A League Of Their Own」

もともと私はCindy Lauper派でしたが、マドンナのこの曲は気に入ってしまいました♪
